Introduction

Most TV, CATV and Set-top box tuners are designed to operate with input signal levels between
-80dBm and -20dBm per channel. If feed signal levels to TVs, CATV or Set-top box tuners are too high, picture distortions will occur.

It is recommended that by inserting an attenuator into the distribution system, the signal is reduced to less than -20dBm at the TV, Set-top box RF connector.

The AT2P series is able to meet the needs of general-purpose attenuation applications in the LF / VHF / UHF frequency range.

The specification, from 5MHz to 1000MHz at 100mW average, 200mW peak, excellent return loss(>20dB) and good accuracy (1dB at 1000MHz). (see the figure)

Our mini-size attenuators are also available with DC Block (AT2) and in an even smaller housing (AT3).
