Introduction

Our BEQ1 series is a band equalizer that selectively compensates for the uneven broadband frequency response (cable loss) often present in distribution systems only in the forward path of a cable network. The return path remains unaffected.

By inserting the BEQ1 at the input of the distribution amplifier, sloping cable loss is compensated and the amplifier input is provided with a flat broadband frequency response.

Use with any distribution amplifier to compensate for negatively sloped cable loss.
