The LA-2001 series is a low power wideband line amplifier with high gain. It offers a gain of 20 dB and bandwidth of 15 - 2300 MHz.

As the graph below clearly shows, the gain is very flat at 20 dB from 15 - 2300 MHz while the return loss below 1.5 GHz is better than 10 dB.

This gives our line amplifier a very broad application range: FM, TV, CATV, MMDS, SMATV, Satellite-IF or any RF application from 15 to 2300 MHz.

Another great advantage of this amplifier line is its small size: Only 20 x 57 mm. The housing is waterproof and double copper sealing guarantees good RFI shielding.

For Example
In satellite reception systems, most satellite receivers are designed to operate with an input signal level between -60 and -30dBm per channel. It is recommended that the signal level of satellite-IF distribution systems is not less than -50dBm per channel at the customer outlet.
In some conditions this means a line amplifier must be used to boost the signal level.
1. Long (more than 100 feet) runs of coaxial cable from LNB to satellite receiver.
2. In a satellite-IF distribution system where the signal level may become marginal toward the end of the system.
